Acceptable Use Policy
Crimson Video serves short product videos on your own store's pages. This policy draws the lines around that. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
You may not upload or distribute
- content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights — including music and footage you have not licensed;
- content that is unlawful where you or your customers are, including content that violates the privacy or publicity rights of people appearing in it;
- sexually explicit material, or content depicting or endangering minors — the latter is reported to the authorities;
- content promoting violence, hatred, or illegal goods and services;
- malware, or files crafted to be interpreted as anything other than video.
You may not use the Service to
- host files for anything other than presenting product video on pages you operate — the Service is not a general-purpose file or video host;
- probe, overload or interfere with the Service or other customers' use of it;
- resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.
Enforcement
We check uploads mechanically (a file that is not playable video is refused automatically) and act on substantiated reports — anyone can file one at /legal/report. Violations lead to content suspension, and repeated or serious violations to account termination, as set out in the Terms. We tell you what we did and how to contest it.
